PASSENGERS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
General information
All passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) are entitled for special assistance at Poznan Lawica Airport and during air journey.
Both, Poznan Lawica Airport and operating airlines, are obligated to guarantee special assistance to all PRM passengers free of charge and ensure the right to use all facilities based on local, state and European legislation.
As of 26 July 2008 Poznan Lawica Airport Ltd. as a managing body mandates service for disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility to handling agent POZ Airport Services Ltd.
All passengers who wish to apply for special assistance are requested to notify their airline ( either in person or through their travel agency) when booking their flight or, at the latest, 48 hours before their flight.
How to ask for assistance?
All passengers who also require assistance at the airport, have to notify the provider POZ Airport Services Ltd. They can do so by:
• Phone: 0048.61.8492.316 or 0048.602.316.160
• SMS: 0048.602.316.160: Name.Surname.Departure date.Departure hour.Destination.Flight number
• e-mail: pomoc@airport-poznan.com.pl ( Name and surname, date and hour of departure, destination and flight number, short information about disability and form of requested assistance)
• airport’s website and filling special form (available here) ;
After arriving to the airport disabled passengers and passengers with reduced mobility can, with ease, announce their arrival and request assistance in special designated call points: in front of the terminal main entrance, parking reception or directly at the main hall Information desk. Call points, parking and terminal entrances are clearly signposted and identified with the standard international symbol.
