The terminal covers the area of 1,490 m2.

There are offices of handling agent, Customs Bureau, Border Guards, freighters and customs agents in the building. The entire terminal warehouse is divided into export, import and domestic warehouses as well as loading and unloading boxes. Specialist rooms for valuable packages, radioactive and hazardous materials, ashes and corpses, animals and deposits have been created in the export warehouse. Out of concern for ecology and environmental protection, gas heating is used. In order to guarantee security, a system of access control, as well as antitheft and antiburglar systems have been installed. Every piece of goods in cargo traffic is screened using Heimann type devices.

Perfect localization of the Cargo Terminal (about 5 km from A2 motorway), developing economy of the region and inflow of foreign investments make it an important part of the Poznań Logistic and Investment Centre and Żegrze Logistic Centre, which is being created in Poznań.
